PROVENANCE
The collection of Tonko Ninić (1934-2024), violinist, concertmaster and leader of the Zagreb Soloists. Ninić, a member and leader of the Zagreb Soloists for nearly forty years, is counted among the most important instrumentalists of the 20th century, repeatedly awarded for his exceptional artistic work, including the Vladimir Nazor Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2003. He was an emeritus professor and longtime music pedagogue at the Music Academy in Zagreb.
