PROVENANCE
Collection of Tonka Ninić (1934–2024), violinist, concertmaster and leader of the Zagreb Soloists. Ninić, a member and leader of the Zagreb Soloists for almost forty years, is considered one of the most significant instrumentalists of the 20th century, multiple award-winning for his exceptional artistic work, including the Vladimir Nazor Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2003. He was a professor emeritus and long-time music teacher at the Music Academy in Zagreb.
