PROVENANCE
Collection of Tonko Ninić (1934-2024), violinist, concertmaster and leader of the Zagreb Soloists. Ninić, a member and leader of the Zagreb Soloists for almost forty years, is considered among the most important instrumentalists of the 20th century, repeatedly awarded for his outstanding artistic work, including the Vladimir Nazor Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2003. He was a professor emeritus and longtime music pedagogue at the Music Academy in Zagreb.
