PROVENANCE
The collection of Tonka Ninić (1934-2024), violinist, concertmaster and leader of the Zagreb Soloists. Ninić, a member and leader of the Zagreb Soloists for almost forty years, is considered one of the most significant instrumentalists of the 20th century, multiple award winner for his exceptional artistic work, among other things with the Vladimir Nazor Lifetime Achievement Award in 2003. He was an emeritus professor and long-term music pedagogue at the Music Academy in Zagreb.
