PROVENANCE
collection of Tonko Ninić (1934.-2024.), violinist, concertmaster and leader of the Zagreb Soloists. Ninić, a member and leader of the Zagreb Soloists for almost forty years, is considered one of the most significant instrumentalists of the 20th century, multiple times awarded for his exceptional artistic work, including the Vladimir Nazor Lifetime Achievement Award in 2003. He was a professor emeritus and long-standing music educator at the Music Academy in Zagreb.
