PROVENANCE
Collection of Tonko Ninić (1934-2024), violinist, concertmaster and leader of the Zagreb Soloists. Ninić, a member and leader of the Zagreb Soloists for almost forty years, is considered one of the most significant instrumentalists of the 20th century, repeatedly awarded for his exceptional artistic work, among other, with the Vladimir Nazor Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2003. He was a professor emeritus and a long-term music educator at the Music Academy in Zagreb.
