PROVENANCE
The collection of Tonko Ninić (1934-2024), violinist, concert master and leader of the Zagreb Soloists. Ninić, a member and leader of the Zagreb Soloists for almost forty years, is considered one of the most significant instrumentalists of the 20th century, multiple award winner for his exceptional artistic work, including the Vladimir Nazor Award for Life Achievement in 2003. He was an emeritus professor and long-term music teacher at the Music Academy in Zagreb.
