The stiletto was part of the land army officers' gala uniform, during the Romanian Socialist regime (1965-1989). The sheath is decorated on both sides with the RSR coat of arms. The grips (the belt fastening system) are complete and are presented in a good state of preservation. The uniform's belt, to which the grips were laterally fastened, is also well preserved.
