In 1926, at The Hague, Carol Gustave Rommenhöller (1853-1931) published this work aimed at the popularisation of Romania in the West, after the completion of the Great Union. The work enjoyed a great success, both in Romania and abroad. The specimen is part of a special edition, bound in parchment-type material with a leather back. On the main cover, there is the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Romania. The piece is accompanied by a document through which the author, holding the position Honorary Consul of Romania in Germany, sent the specimen as a homage to an important personality.
