PROVENANCE
Collection of Tonko Ninić (1934–2024.), violinist, concert master and leader of the Zagreb Soloists. Ninić, a member and leader of the Zagreb Soloists for nearly forty years, is considered one of the most significant instrumentalists of the 20th century, awarded multiple times for his exceptional artistic work, including the Vladimir Nazor Award for Life Achievement in 2003. He was a professor emeritus and a long-term music educator at the Music Academy in Zagreb.
