PROVENANCE
Collection of Tonka Ninić (1934–2024), a violinist, concertmaster, and leader of the Zagreb Soloists. Ninić, a member and leader of the Zagreb Soloists for nearly forty years, is considered one of the most significant instrumentalists of the 20th century, multiple times awarded for his exceptional artistic work, among others with the Vladimir Nazor Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2003. He was a professor emeritus and longtime music pedagogue at the Music Academy in Zagreb.
