The album includes, in an exceptional graphic achievement, a brief history of the evolution of the military institution from the establishment of the Principalities to the days of Prince Charles I’s reign. The chromatographic drawings depict the period after 1866, the moment of the future King Charles I’s coming to the country, and they highlight the typical organization of the army in terms of structure and uniforms. The pages are tied in red pegamoid covers, the main one being decorated in the centre with the coat of arms of Romania made in colloidal gold.
