Shaquille O'Neal is considered one of the best basketball players of all time, with a career of over 19 years in the NBA. With four NBA championship titles, Shaq primarily played from the center position, also known as the "post man", dedicated to the tallest and most powerful player on the team. O'Neal was part of the U.S.A. basketball team at the 1996 Olympic Games, the same year he joined the L.A. Lakers. Because of his ability to score from short range (dunk), the athlete is in third place in terms of goal average (58.2%). Alongside Willis Reed and Michael Jordan, he is the only player to have won simultaneously, in the same year the NBA MVP, All-Star Game MVP and Finals MVP awards.
