The artwork was part of the "Urban Spirit" exhibition, National Museum of Contemporary Art, Bucharest, 2025.

In the painting "AI: I watch you", the artist makes an association between an AI-generated character (Artificial Intelligence) and the Eryngium giganteum plant, symbol of perfection. Artificial Intelligence, although not alive, is created by humans to serve complex purposes. The connection could be a metaphor about how what appears cold and rigid can hide astonishing potential. The aesthetics of the Eryngium giganteum plant, which has a pronounced architectural form, with rigid and symmetric structures almost mechanical, can be associated with the complex design of AI systems. The plant is a symbol of hidden beauty, with a mystic and spectral aspect that evokes a connection between worlds - natural and supernatural. AI, with its ability to analyze data and create new connections, can be considered a bridge between worlds: the human and the robotic one. In mystical tradition, it is considered a protective plant, capable of repelling negative energies just as AI can also have the ability to filter harmful information and detect different threats.
