The work represents a synthetic history of the most important moments in human history. Each page includes an engraving made on a 24-carat gold foil, 999.9 purity. Each engraving weighs 1 gram and the total is 20 grams of gold. All the engravings were made in Japan and the entire project was carried out by International Marketing Projects, Rome. The binding was made from veal leather processed according to traditional methods. On the inside of the main cover there is a space where there was a plate that could be used for engraving the owner's name or a dedication. This plate is missing. At the end of the volume there is a colophon that includes all project data and the number of each copy. This copy has the number 999/10,000.
