Ion Popa Burcă (1875-1937), geography teacher and collaborator of scientist Gheorghe Munteanu Murgoci, alongside whom, in 1902, he published the first edition of the manual "Geografia României și a țărilor locuite de români" ("The Geography of Romania and the Lands Inhabited by Romanians"), edited in 1914 this propaganda map, in which he spoke about the national Romanian project.
