PROVENANCE
Collection of Tonka Ninić (1934-2024), violinist, concert master and leader of the Zagreb Soloists. Ninić, a member and leader of the Zagreb Soloists for almost forty years, is considered among the most significant instrumentalists of the 20th century, multiple times awarded for his exceptional artistic work, among others with the Vladimir Nazor Lifetime Achievement Award in 2003. He was an emeritus professor and a long-standing music teacher at the Music Academy in Zagreb.
