The album represents a copy of the very few official pieces taken during the visit of communist dictator Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej to Iași in 1961. The photographs, of a very good technical and artistic quality, were taken by photographer Anghel Pasat and they capture the stages of this visit. In the album, each photo is accompanied by an explanatory text. The paperboard sheets supporting the photos are bound in an elegant album with leather covers. The album is in an excellent state of preservation.
