PROVENANCE
Historical collection of academician Matko Peić (1923–1999), a Croatian writer, art historian, painter, university professor, and author of numerous art monographs. Peić is one of the prominent intellectual figures of Croatian culture in the second half of the 20th century, whose work connected art history, art criticism, literature, travel prose, and pedagogical work.
