Franjo S. Stiplošek (Malinska, 1898 - Brežice, 1963), sculptor, painter, and graphic artist, received artistic education in Trieste under Ivan Rendić (1917) at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb (1922-1923) and in Vienna and Florence in graphic workshops. The City Museum of Zagreb in its collection holds a Stiplošek bust of the Croatian historian, archivist, and meritorious conservator Emilij Laszowski. BRP
