The cartographer Johan Baptist Homann created this old map of the Danube basin, with Greece, Italy and the countries of the Balkans, parts of the Adriatic and Aegean coasts. In the lower half, semi-central, there is a richly decorated cartouche with allegorical figures. Hand-colored copper engraving after printing.
