The poster refers to the first trial judged in Bucharest by the People's Court which ended on May 22, 1945, and pronounced sentences of capital punishment and imprisonment for 38 accused, among them General Nicolae Macici responsible for the massacres committed by the Romanian army in Odessa during the Second World War.
