Two similar icons are published, one of them "The Mușat Collection: A spiritual geography of Transylvanian glass icons", by Ana Dumitran, Bucharest 2018, page 15 and one in "New considerations on Transylvanian Glass Icons", by Alexandru Constantin Chituță, Sibiu, 2021, page 483.

Saint Ilie is illustrated in a chariot of fire, made with pink and green, pulled by two winged horses. Ilie holds the reins in one hand and a fire whip in the other. In the lower register, Elisei looks at the Saint and holds the mantle thrown by Ilie to his breast. He appears in double pose, in the second he is illustrated in a cave in the wilderness, and two ravens bring him bread. In fact, the composition combines two of the poses in which the saint appears in the hermine: "Ilie's Ascension to Heaven" and "Ilie Fed by the Raven". (M.B.)
