Jesus Christ the Saviour gives benediction with his right hand, and, in his left hand, he is holding the sceptre, the symbol of omnipotence. Jesus is depicted in front, on the clouds. His image, with three faces, is framed by a triangular halo, a symbol of the Trinity. He is watched by four angels, placed on either side. (M.B.)
