The Hungarian composer, pianist and ethnomusicologist Béla Bartók (1881-1945) collected and published many traditional folk musical creations from the regions of Hungary inhabited by other nationalities, including Romanian traditional folk musical works that have been preserved in this way. The improvised stave is in the form of a musical dedication, holographly signed and dated.
