The current edition from Plutarch's work was published by Johann Jacob Reiske (1716-1774), a diligent translator and editor of Greco-Roman classics. The binding of the copies is from the period, in leather. On the back of the title page there is a personal ex libris made in the form of a heraldic coat of arms.
