Lazar Popovici was a Romanian doctor of Transylvanian origins, settled in Vienna after completing his medical studies, organizer of a clinic and member of the parish council of the Romanian church in the capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The letters are written in black ink, are dated and signed, and refer to family matters, inheritances, the payment of some taxes.
