Book with a religious subject, printed in Iași in the year 1797. The work is part of the category of old Romanian books (1508-1830), having been printed under the patronage of the ruler of Moldova, Alexandru Callimachi, with the role of editor falling to the metropolitan Iacov. The book appeared in Iași, in the typography of the Mitropolis, those involved in the printing activity being the typographers Pavel Clopotariul, Theodor and Ioan, and the engraver Simion. Authentic piece, important for the history of old Romanian printing from the end of the eighteenth century, it presents [1] f. + 613 p. + [1] f. It features typographic ornaments in the form of engravings, ornate initials, frontispieces, and vignettes.
