Raised in the world of Oltenian fairy tales and earth or celestial beings, Sabin Bălașa develops from childhood a deep connection with nature and the cosmos. A multifaceted artist, with a clear humanist openness, Bălașa will gradually assert himself as a painter, filmmaker, and writer. He constructs his own magical and transcendental universe, with spiritual elements deeply rooted in the depths of his being. Starting with the belief that the theme of art is life itself, he will make use of all the knowledge that he has accumulated in his childhood and youth. He assumes the social-artistic mission usually designated to creators and foreshadows the exaltation of the artist in front of the infinite cosmos. The muse of the present work, organically submerged in the canvas background, is found at the border of two dimensions. The left hemisphere of the protagonist is prefigured in that "Bălașa blue", while the right extremity undoubtedly emerges from the chromatic spell, assuming its own shade.
