softwood, veneered with mahogany, 95 x 150 x 67 cm

This Biedermeier walnut sofa features a beautiful veneer structure. Its rectangular shape with straight armrests instil a modern touch into the piece. In addition, it rests on block legs with square base plates. Furthermore, bevels may be observed on the upper part of the legs. Ebonized columns enframe the Biedermeier-style sofa. The piece still includes its original individually positioned straps and springs and features a modern patterned upholstery. The restored surface, polished with shellac, is in good condition, showing minor signs of wear due to age, minor scratches, however, the pressure points are barely visible.
