The Biedermeier table for card games dates back to the 1830-1840 period.
The table top features a stunning walnut veneer, brimming with whirlpools and natural geometrical motifs. The column is perhaps the most impressive wooden component of the object, with a surprisingly full body and decorative qualities. The playing surface is covered with green leather, which is gently unfolded using a pivoting hinge.
