The main ideologist of the Hungarian revolution of 1848, Lajos Kossuth (1802-1894) published his political memories in Paris. In this volume he speaks, among many other things, about the involvement of Alexandru Ioan Cuza after 1859 in the French plan to arm the Hungarians so that they could organize a new revolution against the Habsburg Empire.
