Exceptional state of preservation. Displays mint luster.
This Romanian gold coin is very heavy and very rare (only 3,000 pieces were minted).
Coins from this series, minted in 1906, were issued to celebrate forty years of Carol I's ascension to the throne. Struck in Brussels, they were engraved by Alfons Michaux.
