The German cartographer and cosmographer of Dutch origin, Andreas Cellarius (1596-1665), stood out for his work "Harmonia Macrocosmica", a major work that was published by the geographer Johannes Janssonius in 1660 in Amsterdam and which enjoyed enormous success at the time, being reprinted in several editions. Copper engraving colored manually after printing.
