Research information
The work was part of the third study Exhibition of the "Principele Carol. Andreescu și Luchian" Cultural Founation, Bucharest 1923, cat. 61. The work is mentioned in the inventory of Ştefan Lucian's works in "Luchian", Jianu, Comarnescu, ESPLA, 1955 in the category of works painted between 1903 and 1914, page 191, with the title "The portrait of Miss Ana P.I.". The work is reproduced in "Ștefan Luchian. Painting, pastel, water painting, drawing", critical catalogue by Theodor Enescu, foreword by Andrei Pleșu, Editura Institutul Cultural Român, Bucharest 2007, page 294 with the title "Young girl portrait".
