Men's gold Franck Muller Imperial Tourbillion wristwatch, reference 5850 T, glazed back. Grey dial, decorated with the guilloché technique and Arabic numerals. Original black alligator skin band and gold buckle. In 1983, after months of research and dedication, Franck Muller presented his first wristwatches. All pieces had complicated mechanisms, designed and created by himself. He realised that there is a market demand from collectors looking for unique watches. To meet this demand, he managed to reveal various innovations, adding complications that hadn't been created up to that point. Franck Muller realised very early on that the Tourbillon was an important scientific invention, being created over 200 years ago, in an attempt to obtain greater precision watches. For the first time, Franck created a Tourbillon that was visible through the dial. Unlike all the other brands that incorporated the Tourbillon complication in their mechanisms visible only from the back. His revolutionary new design and subsequently the Grand Complications became the cornerstone that brought Franck Muller the title of „Master of Complications”.
