Communist leader Virgil Trofin (1926-1984) was until 1981 one of the main collaborators of dictator Nicolae Ceaușescu He was given this protocol gift after he was removed from the central state and party structures, while he held the position of director of the State Agricultural Enterprise (IAS) Mircea Vodă from Călărași County, between 1982 and 1984.
