At the end of the first World War and the return of the government and the royal family to Bucharest, the Romanian authorities arrested all those suspected of collaborating with the enemy during the occupation of the southern part of the country by the Central Powers troops. Investigations were also conducted which targeted those suspected of collaboration, including gala Galaction, due to his Germanophile views. The document illustrates such an inquiry and contains the questions the writer was coerced to answer, as well as his answers. The sheets are written in black ink on both sides and their reading reveals numerous historical details about the period of Romanian occupation.
