he photographs capture aspects from the official visit on which communist dictator Nicolae Ceaușescu went at Putna, marking 500 years from the establishment of the monastery. Along Ceaușescu, Ion Gheorghe Maurer, the future Archbishop of Suceava and Rădăuți, and father Pimen, are also in the pictures.
