16. Sweetie (Beibi) [2014]

Lia Bira received her MA in Graphic Arts in 2014 from the National University of Arts, Bucharest. Selected exhibitions: ESSL Award, Victoria Art Center (2015), The Space, Art Safari Bucharest (2015), Get Closer, CAV, (2015). Lia Bira is the denouement of her intricate genealogy, the conqueror of her present and the explorer of her future. She likes to rebuild people’s lives through their most specific, core traits, by closely observing their behavior, attitude and character. Lia believes that the present times are a stage in-between two artistic movements, so she tries to explore as much as she can.
