Miron Cristea (1868-1939) was the first patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church, between 1925 and 1939, and for a year prime minister (February 1938 - March 1939). The volume marked the patriarch's 70th anniversary. The copy includes his original portrait photograph, taken in the Foto-Tehnica Nicolae Țațu photographic studio in Bucharest, as well as his autograph signature, dated. The circulation of this edition was 190 copies. The binding is new.
