Vasile Gorduz's work is abundant in symbols, becoming a plea for the human condition and spiritual memory. In Vasile Gorduz's creations, the role of the sculpted form is to preserve the entirety of the generating event. Gorduz contemplates the idea that sculptures are the product of a thought visiting the mind, becoming independent when they take on a tangible form. Regardless of the material, plaster, wood, or stone, the artist had the duty to reproduce, as truthfully as possible, the inner discourse of his works. Vasile Gorduz's works are characterized by the ability to be integrated into everyday life without presenting ostentatious exuberance. His artistic world is, at first glance, a gathering of sublime and silent beings, symbolizing the artist's creed. In this work, ”Angel”, Vasile Gorduz drew inspiration from the boundless celestial space, giving birth to a being from a sidereal time. With a face bearing void, the angel calls us with his trumpet to approach the sculpture.
