Profiled ornament type bas-relief, illustrating a still nature that shows a monkey and a parrot. The monkey is positioned on the left, seeming to interact with an abundance of fruits and vegetables scattered on a table. The parrot is above the central arrangement.
The complex details and the subject are in accordance with the tradition of the Baroque style, similar to the works of Flemish painters such as Frans Snyders or Tobias Stranover, who often combined exotic animals with lush floral arrangements.
