Artist and theorist alike, Paul Miracovici reveals a unique stylistic tendency, marked by a special interest in light and color. A very good decorative artist, he bravely extends his creative boundaries, also creating posters and murals. His works often renounce detail and texture, demonstrating that form and color are enough to create a poetic and sincere work. Miracovici often paints his subjects in a uniform manner, as if all elements would share the same materiality. This approach resonates with his experience as a poster illustrator, a profession that requires clarity and visual synthesis. Such a vision can be observed, for example, in the painting “Dobrogean alley”. The local colors are enough to suggest the landscape, and the shadows carried and a few accents of light and dark, applied in free and lively strokes, construct a setting with a specific style for Miracovici. “In front of the house” maintains this synthetic approach, but introduces an increased attention to detail. The roof of the house and the stone fence in the foreground are treated with a more pronounced relief. The sky, flat in "Dobrogean alley", is here represented in a lively gradient, with expressive brushwork. The tree trunk, doors, and windows are almost flatly represented. Only the carried shadows and small chromatic accents provide volume. What can thus be deduced from Miracovici's work is an attentive spirit of observation, a special ability of essentialization, and a sincere admiration for the beauty of nature.
