The work is part of the graphic portfolio "Dark Variations" created between 1936 and 1939, and one version was reproduced in the monograph "Antun Zupa", Dusko Keckemet, Galerija Kula: Babo & Sons, Split, 2000, under the title "Old Fisherman" on page 115.
