Adolf Polunić (1938, Skopje) is a Croatian painter. Although he was born in Skopje, he has lived in Zagreb his entire life. A self-taught artist, without formal painting education, he devoted his life to perfecting his talent. He graduated from the School of Graphic Design in Zagreb and then worked at Vjesnik, where he worked as a graphic designer. In 1965, he first exhibited in the Likum gallery, and the exhibition was curated by Josip Vaništa. His abstract canvases are recognized and appreciated; he exhibited at the Art Zagreb fair in 2021 and at the Annual exhibitions of members of the Croatian Society of Fine Artists in 2022, 2023 and 2024. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Turkish statehood, Polunic's work is permanently exhibited at the Turkish Cultural Center Yunus Emre in Zagreb. He has been a member of the Croatian Society of Fine Artists since 2021.
