Research information
The work represents a monumental study for the altar stained glass, which Marijan Trepše made to order for the decoration of the chapel of the Wounded Jesus in Zagreb in the mid-1930s. The scene of Mourning is depicted, with the Virgin Mary at the center, along with Nicodemus, Joseph of Arimathea, and a Roman soldier.
