From the vast opus of Emanuel Vidović, which according to the most competent painter's monograph Igor Zidić, counts several thousand works, this watercolor is not unknown to the painter's fans. In serious Zidić's selections, it was exhibited at both retrospectives of the painter's work; in Split in 1982 and in Zagreb in 1987. Among several hundred oils then exhibited, the author of the exhibition each time found space for about a dozen or fifteen watercolors. It's a fact that speaks about the importance of Vidović's watercolor section for understanding the continuity and the sum of values of his opus.
