Research information

The artwork was part of the "Urban Spirit" exhibition, National Museum of Contemporary Art, Bucharest, 2025.

The work M2 represents a free expression of my inner state, through which I tried to convey my perspective on the exhibition's theme. The "Urban Spirit" series is a chronicle of the effervescence of urban culture, in which 11 excellent Romanian artists, each with a unique visual lexicon, transform skateboard plates into authentic works of art, made à l’envers compared to the classic placement of art on decks. Thus, these cult objects, associated with adrenaline and freedom, transformed into art, become supports of reflection, mirrors, of urban identities.
