Obverse: the head of Alexander the Great, wearing the horns of Zeus-Amon Reverse: Athens goddess, facing left, holding her right hand reaching out to Nike, with her left hand resting on the shield and holding the spear. Nike goddess is portrayed with her wings spread and holding a wreath of laurels in her hands. In the exergue, below the throne, is "TO", the first two letters of the name of the town where the coin was struck (Tomis), the only known coin with this type of monogram. On the sides the inscription BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΛYΣIMAXΩY.
